A self note…

Even though I have a vast experience both in technology and the domain I am involved, I have noticed that I am not taken that seriously in meetings often. Many reasons of me being polite and assertive and more willing to listen than to talk but still that does not nail the right cause. The title gives me more suitable reason and solution.

A tiny step of courage

This is a personal note.

This post is to remind me that courage does work as like love and what I believed but did not take step when required. I took the courage step that worked well and I am feeling happy. I must learn to forgive forget and move on and I must concentrate on my goals like Eklavaya. I must listen and trust to the single source rather listen many voices that are common during such time.

I must practice courage as I do love.

HaHa!! I just laugh it. I am going thru my masters and I see things broken to any level. I tried few things and debate with my colleagues but it does not work. Old habits and education as corporate business does not work.

I have this book on my iPhone and now there is a TED video by Seth on this.

While traveling, I tried to think about myself and felt the only one thing which I gave utmost importance is the freedom. I have lived like that and I have let live people like that. This is the most amazing thing.

Whatever it takes, I would like to be free. At the same time I think, responsibility should not be thought as against freedom.

I liked this dictionary definition of freedom:

freedom: the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action

The rise of the machines (m embedded)

The fall in the price of the computers or PC is actually the rise of the machines, mostly the embedded group. Such news is now often heard from few corners and one from wall street got to my attention.

GigaOm, my favorite news feeder for last 6-7 years got me right to say that people are going back to their garages.

What happens when computers are cheaper than LEGO blocks?

The Pi Raspberry is a credit card size single-board compuer developed with the intention of teaching the basics of computer science in schools in UK. It has an ARM 700 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM,slot for SD card, GPU etch which is enough to make learning crazy. The good news is that the price is going down and is now available in $25.

The Pi Raspberry project is a great place to look at the fun going on.

 

While I am doing my embedded systems course, it would be fun to really get the feel of these processors (8051, ARM, ATOM). Really interested to do some fun coding there, hope I will be able to manage my time well.

Hope and faith for the new dawn

From month of May till September almost five months went like a typhoon shaking us- a small budding family with three member. It taught us a lots of lesson just like that as even we were living a simple non-harming life on this part of earth. Meaning of family, routine, time-management,health, love, trust, career, courage, passion, risk, vacation and relationship and many more in words came to us in rounds. We kept the same simple loving spirit with a promise to be better in everything that nature taught during this time.

Tough time will never end but people have to be tougher as it goes. Just like the roots of the tree, it gets rusty and deepens further in the ground/nature as it grows. It never loose spirit but waits for the right phase to come to laden itself with joy flowers and fruits. It grows with a story.

I wish and keep faith to see the good times of the new dawn for which we are ready to work hard and imbibe the lessons from the nature.
